Make a Real Difference

Doorway supports young people aged 16–25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. As a Volunteer Receptionist, you’ll be the welcoming face of our service—helping young people feel safe, supported and heard.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome young people, visitors and partners
  • Handle enquiries with warmth and professionalism
  • Direct visitors to the right team member
  • Support admin tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Encourage young people’s involvement and feedback
  • Work collaboratively while upholding safeguarding and confidentiality

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident, friendly communicator
  • Empathy and awareness of challenges young people face
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office 
  • Professional, flexible and reliable
