20 Years at Doorway

As my 20th anniversary of working at Doorway approached, I began to think about all the young people I had met and/or supported over those years.

How were they doing? Did the Advice and Support they received make a difference?

Thank you to all the young people that took time out to meet with me, share their memories and provide feedback on the work that I as well as many others at Doorway have been providing young people aged 16 – 25yrs in Warwickshire since 1997.

They all gave permission for me to use their words in this book and I am very proud of each and every one of them.

Although times and trends have changed over the years, the issues and challenges young homeless people face remain the same.
