Our Impact 2025/2026 Opening Doors to Independence Doorway has supported hundreds of young people across Warwickshire to move from crisis towards stability and independence. Through housing advice, tailored wellbeing support, practical life skills coaching, and early intervention services, we helped young people build the confidence and resilience needed to create positive futures. In 2025/2026, our support enabled 33 young people to secure and sustain their own accommodation, while 85 young people received personalised housing and wellbeing support. We delivered 164 housing advice sessions to help prevent homelessness and reduce crisis escalation, and made 144 referrals connecting young people with vital services and support networks. The impact extended far beyond housing. Young people reported improvements in self-care, relationships, tenancy management, financial skills, wellbeing, and community connections. By providing the right support at the right time, Doorway helps young people develop the practical skills and confidence needed to maintain independence and thrive. Every referral, support session, and successful housing outcome represents a young person moving closer to a safer, more secure future. Together with our partners, funders, and supporters, we continue to open doors to independence for young people across Warwickshire. Doorway's approach combines advice, support, accommodation and life skills development to prevent homelessness and empower young people to live independently with confidence.
